Close to Le Grand-Bornand, the Aravis range and Annecy, come and experience whitewater at Aime-la-Plagne, 1h20 by road.
Rafting, hydrospeed, canoe or hot-dog — whatever your craft, you will share an exhilarating water adventure and emotions you will talk about for a long time with friends.
A few notes on the craft:
Hydrospeed, or whitewater swimming, is a descent where you are equipped with a foam float and a wetsuit specific to the activity. You move individually, riding the current, surfing the smallest wave or tackling the eddies almost as easily as an expert kayaker.
The hot-dog is the raft’s little cousin — a subtle mix of raft and canoe, in an inflatable two-seater version. It lets any beginner tackle technical rapids solo or in pairs.
Activity locations: on the Upper Isère or the Dranse.
What to bring: swimwear, a towel.
Provided: wetsuit, helmet, life jacket, neoprene booties / Hydrospeed: fins, foam float, wetsuit.
